What is the BOPP film

Bopp is an important soft packaging material. It is widely used. Biaxially oriented polypropylene film is produced by first making the polymer polypropylene melt into sheet or thick film through a long and narrow die, and then stretching in two vertical directions at a certain temperature and at a set speed in a special stretching machine at the same time or step by step, and after proper cooling or heat treatment or special processing

BOPP film is colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and has high tensile strength, impact strength, rigidity, strong toughness and good transparency. It is widely used in packaging of bread, clothing, footwear, as well as the cover packaging of cigarettes and books. BOPP film can be produced by tube film method or flat film method.

It is usually produced by multi-layer composite method. OPP can be compounded with a variety of different materials to meet the special application needs, with moisture resistance, transparency, high and low temperature resistance, cooking resistance and oil resistance. Different composite films can be applied to the packaging of oily food, rare taste food, dry food, soaked food, various cooked cooked food, MSG, pancake, rice cake, etc.
